I didn't realise the Harry Potter premiere was tonight, until I saw some people dressed as wizards going past on their way to Leicester Square

I think he is also designing houses... not really sure, but I believe I read somewhere he has founded or co-operates with a certain construction company for
rebuilding parts of New Orleans. That's as good a topic as any to start a discussion with

For a week (starting today) my kids are with their dad on vacation. They go to see his mother (she's about 89 now, I think) and do some good Puerto Rican
cooking. I'll enjoy this little breather after a busy few weeks. My son (aged 17) has been taking a summer driver education class (lectures are finished,
next he has to schedule driving time) and started his first ever job. I've been driving him around a lot, and when he finishes the license he still
won't be able to drive much, at least not at my house. I have only one vehicle. So I'll stay busy this summer.
Anyway, this week I can kick back and relax. Any good movies out there you think I should go see? I'm in the U.S. (in Texas). I rarely see them in theaters, I usually wait till they're on DVD. Maggie |

If you're going to wear a short dress, make it a Little Black Dress. Here's one suggestion (from a UK newspaper article). And

Little black dresses are always a good choice
God I love dresses! I don't know if the news has made it outside of France, but a French student, about my age, has been in jail in Iran for a week now. She was arrested at the airport as she was leaving the country, she was charged of spying because she sent pictures of the events following the elections to friends. I find it always a bit disturbing to hear about people my age being in such dreadful situations. But it turns out she's a very good friend of my boyfriend, they went to Uni together. Makes it all the more real, and scarier too. I hope she'll get out ok, real soon. (although I'm not sure our President demanding her to be released is actually helping, given the situation between France and Iran...)

Reguarding the dress option I loved the illusion - top dress! It is very beautiful and classy!

Did you attend the potter showing? I avoid all articles and discussions reguarding upcoming films of Ralph's so I didn't realize that he was not in this film. Was he in it? "Happy thoughts, happy dreams,

 I love little black dresses, too, but I'm out of proportion (chest of a shot putter, waist of a greyhound) so it's difficult to find
one that really fits - life sure ain't easy

Whenever Ralph has a new film coming out I hate to read about it before I see it for myself. I like to veiw it with only my own thoughts first. After I see it I consume as many topics reguarding the film as much as I can. The draw back to this is that everyone has already discussed it and do not really wish to go back and discuss things already brought to the table. I try so hard to see any film that intrests me right when it comes out because I hate running into people who talk about it and give away any spoilers. Is Ralph really not in this H.P. ? Ducky, no, I didn't go to the premiere. But I've heard he isn't in it. Don't know if that's true - will ask a friend who went to the
premiere.

Lord V is not really in the next potter movie...only as younger versions...growing up...from trailers I have noted that there are flashes of RF at Lord V...but
that likelly was taken from previous filming..

Right, Harry Potter and the half blood prince, has only Young Voldy part, so RF will not in, last one Harry Potter with Deathley Hallows has HUGE VOLDY part, in fact I heard it will made 2 films and I am sure RF will be in. Unfortunately, Sorry to mention again, I am afriad then RF will shave his head again for 2 films  I am sorry, I can't help it to mention! I just read article that HP Premiere
in London was really wet one with all that rain and thunderstorm!

I've never thought of Frederik as hot, Jas, but I guess
he's alright. Not pretty like your William, but growing older becomes him. I'm not sure how good a conversation partner he makes for - he is rather
inarticulate which is strange when you think of his erudite parents, who write poetry and cookery books, translate sagas from Icelandic and French novels,
exhibit their paintings and sculptures, design ballet costumes, play the piano, speak Chinese, etc., etc., etc. - but he seems nice.
