We were discussing Guy's costume over at the AA because the fastenings on the jacket look different from the ones in the show; this is one of about 3 or 4 they use. My guess is they have different weights of material and different detail depending on whether they are shooting action sequences or close ups. Mind you, I do remember reading an interview in which Richard confirmed it is definitely leather.

I'm looking forward to getting my Spooks 7 dvd soon, having ordered it back in March. I hope it's worth the wait - it includes a Making Of documentary which, I assume, will include interviews. There are commentaries but only from the writers/directors as on previous boxed sets.

I'm determined to avoid spoilers for Spooks 8 so haven't been going on the forum very much, just incase. It's starting to qet v exciting! I imagine once filming on Strike Back finishes he'll be back from South Africa to start promoting Spooks.

BTW, please don't let me forget Frozen on Monday. It's after midnight so I might need a reminder!!

Thanks Evelyn, I had to record it onto video tape because our dvd recorder just suddenly stopped working yesterday. Looks like we'll have to get a new one, and then I'll copy it onto disc so you can watch it.

Stayed up to watch the film which finished at 2am (there's dedication for you). It's not an easy film to watch, by any means, and trying to make my brain work at that time of night to figure out the plot was quite a challenge. Can't say I enjoyed it exactly but I'm glad I finally got to see it.

Richard's role was pivotal but very brief and Shirley Henderson was v good, but I find her voice off-putting. It's OK in small doses but as the lead I found it difficult to listen to all the time. Shame because I do like her as an actress.

There were several other actors making cameo appearances including Ralph Little, but interestingly, when the credits rolled at the end, none of the actors' names were there, not even Shirley Henderson.

On a shallow note, first sight of Richard involved major crinkles, final sight was of him in a tight fitting, long sleeved grey T-shirt with his hair just starting to go a bit straggly on the back of his neck.

"If you lie, you die!".

Another one of those classic Robin Hood lines.

Enjoy re-watching RH Season 2 this week, Evelyn, the best IMO. And I hope Season 3 does well in the US.

BTW, on Saturday I saw A Winter's Tale at Stratford and Sam Troughton was in it!! Only a minor role (his main play is Julius Caesar where he plays Brutus), but lovely to have that connection.
