Can't wait to meet up with them. Doulla, would you actually buy a plane ticket to San Diego for Comic Con? I bet Stella is kicking herself that she didn't book her ticket to San Diego instead while she's in the US? Anyway, Comic Con is HUGE! Total GEEK fest for comic book fans, sci-fi fans etc. (Not Greek fest. ). ETA: Duh, I didn't pay attn to the date of Comic Con. July, not June. Actually, even if I could have afforded the flight, I'm not sure I would have bothered. I remember talking about this with Nastia who went to one of these conventions and she said it was so big and the queues so long, it was difficult to get to see any of the interviews with the actors. It's not the same as going to see them in a play where you can just sit and enjoy them on stage for 2 hours. Someone mentioned RH S3 coming to BBC America later in the year, but I noticed Torchwood: Children of Earth premiering July 20 on the Coming Soon website.

I haven't heard if the BBC have even commissioned a third series of Torchwood for next year. Will you be able to see Children of Earth next week or shall I record it for you? Evelyn, I'm completely biased about Torchwood, I love it, so I would definitely say yes, it's worth watching - but will let you know next week! Meanwhile I'm trying to avoid any spoilers, not reading tv magazines etc. Don't know how much you know about the show, but it's a spinoff from Doctor Who (change the letters around and you get Torchwood) and the programme is based around Capt Jack Harkness played by John Barrowman. He crosses over between the two shows but The Doctor is never seen in Torchwood; it's a much more adult show than Doctor Who and it would not do to see The Doctor involved in bloodshed, swearing etc. Edited to say thank you for the link to BBC America. I finally have the dvd recorder back so I can clean out the DVR of my old shows and Nate's cartoons. ETA - I'll be watching it for John Barrowman, of course. He's easy on the eyes.

The original was quite endearing, if you like that sort of thing, but the new one with Rupert Everett and Colin Firth was pretty ghastly from what I've heard. I just can't imagine why David is going to do the sequel, other than he must have been offered alot of money for it. Thank heavens for Hamlet on BBC. D xx "He's like fire. And ice. And rage. I suspect he's always going to be offered better roles on stage than on screen, given his unconventional looks. I would have hoped that, having earned a shedload of dosh doing Dr Who, he'd have stuck to the stage for a while if he isn't being offered great scripts on screen. Maybe the St Trinian's film is a favour to someone.

Lo' and behold what do I see in the cast credits is DT's name. I haven't listened to this version of the play in over 5 years (Joe Fiennes is Romeo in the audiobook. My Joe interest wanes in and out depending on his projects). Anyone else had an opportunity to listen to it?
