Yes, it's new. Made in 2007 (early summer I would guess) and shown in November/December.

It's absolutely fabulous! Thanks so much for this thread. I would surely have totally missed it! I can't remember the last time I laughed so much.
There are so many funny and witty lines.

I'm so glad! Did you get the DVD? How much have you watched so far?

All of it! In one go! Total madness, I know, but I just couldn't stop last night. I mean what's a few hours of sleep...

Absolutely! I couldn't believe what happened in the third (or was it the fourth) episode. It spoiled it for me for a short while, but then Judi came into
her own.
Wasn't Lisa Dillon good, in an unshowy role and in such illustrious company. She's Patrick Stewart's real life girlfriend :rollseyes - they met doing an Ibsen play together. She's an exceptional young actress, I think. |

She was excellent, but then she's from Coventry... She's on my RADA poster. Now I can put another name to a face! I wouldn't have made the
connection from the photo though. She looks so young on it:

When you watch those medical procedures, one can only be utterly thankful for the progress surgery has made since, especially anaesthesia.

Has anyone noticed how much Eileen Atkins looks like, hm, John Gielgud in a bonnet? |
