I think Mark Rylance has the most integrity of any actor that I have ever read about. It seems as if he has never sold out,
caved in or appeared in a production or film for money or status. Oh no, if I continue like this, I will need to bring back his thread.
It's lovely to see that Mark has made it into the General Discussion section of the forum. He just can't be relegated to one dungeon thread can he? I agree with your assessment above, Enrica, however I would add that he has some company in the integrity category. Subtle actors with penetrating stares and receding hairlines do occasionally have to "sell out" to pay the bills but their integrity survives intact imo.
