<p>Jackie, yes Lust for life wasn&#39;t good film and Maybe Van Gogh deserves better actor to play him but Munch was better looking than Gogh at least for
pictures I saw! and I LOVE Much&#39;s early paintings - romantic paintings - Nitht in St. cloud (1893), Kiss by the Window(1892), The Girl by the window(1893),

creates is so incredibly sad, he&#39;s really not that funny, after all. So, let&#39;s give him another role as a bad guy who is, without doubt, really funny,
like his Wallace and Gromit character, but not just a cartoon.

			<description><![CDATA[ Oh, I know Vincent was mentally ill and it wasn&#39;t helped by the quantities of alcohol he drank, but that&#39;s always the central focus on van Gogh movies
and exaggerated, instead of showing it was something he tried to overcome, they make it freakish. Makes me angry. Grrr!

Lust for Life] could not leave it out altogether...and I would think that RF would certainly play to that was well...but do so without going overboard.

			<description><![CDATA[ But the Kirk Douglas movie(Lust for Life) was awful! He was too melodramatic &amp; not believable as an artist. I saw him on Letterman years ago talking about
it &amp; he said that Vincent &quot;was a weak man&quot;, which isn&#39;t true at all. Ralph could make the definitive movie about Vincent with less emphasis
on the extreme behavior &amp; more on his artistic struggles. He could show the sensitivity of the man like in the Don McLean song(Starry Night), instead of
