Doulla - most of the girls at C19 were swooning over Venetia's Lord Damerel before RA even signed up to do this audiobook. I wondered if he or his agent looked at the msgs at that forum to "push" him to do another audiobook for Naxos. Or perhaps Naxos asked him again after all the prodding from the C19 & AA ladies? ;-)

I'm so excited that Spooks is back tonight, it's guaranteed to make me feel better. I wonder why they've changed it to a Wednesday; in all the years I've watched the show it's always been on a Monday.

Yay! Another audio book to look forward to. Like you, I'll have to borrow the book from the library. I enjoyed...

Audrey - Supposedly new series of Spooks should be starting up late this month. But no one at AA or C19 forums have given a confirmation. Don't worry Doulla will be recording the show. Otherwise, I can send you the AVI or MP4 files afterward. My iPod is packed with RA shows lately. If you ever have a hankering for the Robin Hood series, send me a holler.

Enjoy re-watching RH Season 2 this week, Evelyn, the best IMO. And I hope Season 3 does well in the US.

BTW, on Saturday I saw A Winter's Tale at Stratford and Sam Troughton was in it!! Only a minor role (his main play is Julius Caesar where he plays Brutus), but lovely to have that...

Thanks Evelyn, I had to record it onto video tape because our dvd recorder just suddenly stopped working yesterday. Looks like we'll have to get a new one, and then I'll copy it onto disc so you can watch it.

Stayed up to watch the film which finished at 2am (there's dedication for you). It's not an easy film to watch, by any means, and trying to make my brain work at that time of night to figure out the plot was quite a challenge. Can't say I...

We were discussing Guy's costume over at the AA because the fastenings on the jacket look different from the ones in the show; this is one of about 3 or 4 they use. My guess is they have different weights of material and different detail depending on whether they are shooting action sequences or...

I can't believe Gisborne's outfit is leather. To me it looks like "pleather" (polyvinyl leather). Poor thing. Having to wear it in hot Hungarian summer. Didn't someone mention DNA since he sweated buckets in it? LOL.

BTW, I've converted my sis-in-law and mom-in-law to RA. They watched N&S non-stop the other day. They quite understand his appeal....
