I thought I would create a topic for sites or radio programs that you think may be of interest....Here are a few very interesting sites I've come across:

I think this is the only country on earth where the head of a Congressional Committe in charge of taxes hasn't paid taxes on hundreds of thousands of dollars!!! I am speaking of Congressman Rangel. I think by next year the gov't will be restricting the use of toilet paper also!!! Maybe even how many times you are allowed to go to the bathroom!!! Now you have to go to your doctor=pay more money, to get a prescription for 1000 mg of tylenol. I don't know one person who only takes 500 mg of tylenol. What a waste of time. King Tut Exhibit

Are any of you King Tut-ophiles? There's an exhibit called Tutankhamun the Golden King and the Great Pharoahs making its way around the country now. It's going to be in Indianapolis, San Francisco, and Toronto this year. It includes Tut's sandals (!) and the canopic jar that held his mummified internal organs. How cool is that?

Does anyone else have the Farm Town app on Facebook? I'm spending waaaay too much time on there planting & harvesting crops, arranging trees & deciding what to plant next. The animated farm animals are amusing as well.
Mareska is on there, but I wondered if any other Forumers had farms, too? If you do, let me know & we can all help each other out.

Is anyone here Love Mahler's music?
Here is NYC, Carnegie Hall present Whole Mahler's symphonies (10 including unfinished 10th), From May 2-17th and today is Full day with lectures, and panel discussions about his music at Smaller Carnegie Hall
It was wonderful, start with Lecture by Gilbert Kaplan presentation of his works in details and his life with video and of course from his symphonies!

No one mentioned this and I was wondering what people thought of it. I happened to watch it and the Pres. looked sooo comfortable and seemed soo comfortable in his own skin-it was a pleasure to watch him. However, I'm not so sure it was such a good idea to go on a talk show like this one. I think it demeans the Presidency. Maybe I am just old-fashioned!

In addition to putting a cap on Wall Street why doesn't the Congress put a cap on their salaries and extra benefits that they receive. They should reduce their salaries as a show of good will to all the rest of us who have done the same. I think that would set a good example for the rest of the country. She would be very comfortable there, with all that PORK added on to the stimulus package!!! What is the story here- did we get duped by Obama??? WHere is the CHANGE??? Seems like its business as usual in Washington, or worse. It's disgusting to have this debate of which senator or congressman gets more benefits when people are literally starving here. This an administration for the people!! I don't know about that,seems like these politicians are out for their own good.
